Most “fundamentals” in the world of investment analysis are just heuristics we create by inferring the rules of markets. However, as more market participants apply the same heuristics to reach the same point of view, it becomes priced in.
Our guiding thesis
We look at opportunities in markets with a different perspective when everyone is looking at it with the same lens.
Price is a function of collective opinion, and this guiding investment thesis emerged from many past mistakes. When I invested during the COVID boom, I viewed every market opportunity with the same growth lens as everyone else. It was all fun until the music stopped.
